The deputy mayor, Nieves Vázquez, chaired the meeting.
That commitment means that the city has the largest network of intelligent recharging electric vehicles on public roads in Galicia, and the largest installed completely computerized, so far, in Spain. A network that has now been presented to the participants in this technical conference, among which were represented Bluemobility, Gas Natural Group, FEMP and technical media environment, as well as IDEA (Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving of Energy) that promotes this Movele Plan, which belong to cities like Seville, Madrid, Barcelona. Under IDEA, A Coruña is the third city in Spain Chargers implementation of electric vehicles.
The deputy mayor said Nieves Vázquez have been pooled urban projects to promote sustainable energy. In this sense, A Coruña is a city pioneer, not only for the operation of the first automated network of electric vehicle chargers, but also by the line of support for taxis electric and hybrid and tax rebates to promote less polluting vehicles.
Aid for taxis are: € 4,000 for electric taxis, 3,500 euros for plug-in hybrids, and $ 3,000 for hybrids, LPG and natural gas.
With respect to tax credits for years introducing the following ordinances on tax rebates for private and public vehicles less polluting:
-Hybrid Vehicles: 50% bonus on the first four years.
-gasoline or diesel vehicles with maximum Energy efficiency: a bonus of 75% in tax in the first year of registration of the car, and 50% in the second year.
-vehicles using compressed natural gas, biogas, methane, methanol or hydrogen: reduction of 50% for the life of the vehicle.
-electric motor vehicles: 50% bonus on the life of the vehicle.
The service of "Electrolinera" is another example of the municipal government's commitment to sustainability and mobility, to promote the use of electric cars in the village, reducing environmental and noise pollution and investing in new technologies to serve the public.
The Network consists of seven charging points located in different areas of the city with a total of 30 points Connections:
- Tower of Hercules (in the parking lot next to the Tourist Information Point). 5 shots for vehicles.
- Calle de La Torre, Enriquez Curros corner (next to the travel agency of Monte Alto). 3 shots for vehicles.
- Calle Hospital, San Roque (corner of Railway Street). 4 outlets for vehicles.
- Polígono La Grela, Galileo Galilei Street (side of Work Center). 5 shots.
- Matogrande, Enrique Mariñas (compared to public parking). 4 shots.
- Coliseum Box Office (public parking). 5 shots for vehicles.
- Slope Palloza (opposite the OMIC). 4 outlets for vehicles
The network has been installed in mind possible future extensions and new ways of fast charge. In addition, the intelligence of the system allows discrimination time, so that vehicles can be charged reduced rates, being more economical and efficient that charge.
